Founded by Debra Bowers and Dar Yasseri, The Growth Vanguard brings together decades of leadership, sales, customer experience, and organizational development expertise to help clients grow with clarity, confidence, and consistency.

Debra Bowers

Co-Founder | Sales Culture & Growth Strategist | Owner of Hexagon Media | Host of Deals with Heels

After more than 30 years in sales, marketing, and leadership, Debra Bowers built her career helping others grow their businesses—before making the decision to build her own.

Following a period of personal transition and reinvention, Debra developed a coaching and consulting philosophy rooted in resilience, clarity, and human-centered growth.

Today, she is the owner of Hexagon Media, a marketing and advertising agency focused on driving measurable results, and Co-Founder of The Growth Vanguard.

Debra specializes in:

• Demand development and Messaging

• Communication and Confidence in high-stakes environments

Her work focuses on helping organizations and individuals understand how buyers think, build trust through communication, and create sales environments that are consistent, effective, and aligned with the broader business.

As host of the “Deals with Heels” podcast, Debra brings together real-world insight, emotional intelligence, and practical strategy to help others lead, sell, and grow with confidence.

Dar Yasseri

Co-Founder | Customer Experience & Growth Strategist | Executive Coach | Entrepreneur

Dar brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership, innovation, organizational transformation, and coaching across corporate, academic, and entrepreneurial sectors. His work blends emotional intelligence, cultural insight, and people-first change management. Dar Yasseri is an executive coach, strategist, and educator with over three decades of experience developing leaders, organizations, and customer-focused growth strategies.

At Hilton Worldwide, Dar led executive and organizational development across nine brands and 3,000 properties, helping shape customer experience, leadership alignment, and performance at scale. His work contributed to multiple brands achieving consecutive J.D. Power awards for customer excellence.

As Executive-in-Residence for Oklahoma State University’s School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, he developed future leaders and achieved a 98% post-graduate placement rate. Later, as Vice President of Student Experience at OSU–OKC, he led workforce initiatives that created over 800 jobs through partnerships with Amazon and the City of Oklahoma City.
